Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) or designee, the Internal Medicine Physician delivers primary care services at a patient-centered environment working in a community health center in San Francisco's East Bay (Alameda County). Physician provides quality-driven medical care that includes diagnosis, treatment, consultation, medication orders and follow-up care that incorporates health center policies into their clinical practice that commensurate with training and licensure. This position also provides oversight of clinical support staff (i.e. Midlevel Practitioners, Medical Assistants and Nursing staff) and handles operational issues on the clinical floor to ensure continuity of services and a smooth patient flow that delivers culturally sensitive appropriate care for an outpatient, primary care health center with a multicultural, multilingual patient population.
This is a full-time benefited position working 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday (may include periodic Saturday hours); however, part-time arrangements may be considered.
